Kindiss’s father had a number of salons where she grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. She can remember going to work with him on Saturdays and watching him connect with his guests. She was so inspired by how he was able to make someone feel so good by doing their hair. It was this experience that helped her realize how important the power of touch is. Her Dad saw her interest and started taking her to Aveda hair shows at the Institute and State Theater. She would leave feeling completely motivated. After high school she went to NDSU for 3 years followed by a move to Minneapolis where she attended the Aveda Institute. Kindiss knew it was her calling to work in the industry that inspired her when she was young. Since attending the Institute, she has participated in many hair shows, Aveda Congress, been an Aveda Purefessional, and has also been lucky enough to find her home at Juut. It has now been 20 years since she began her professional career at Juut, and she still wakes up every day with a passion to make people’s day and a great love for her job!

Kindiss loves working with all spectrums of color, but has a special passion for blondes, adding length and thickness to hair with extensions, and overall making people feel beautiful about themselves. She is constantly inspired by the opportunity to make people feel amazing inside and out. Transforming someone, whether it be internally or externally, is what fuels her love for what she does. Outside of her love for the beauty industry, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and hanging out with her family!
