KIMO KIRKMAN

2023 is a full-circle moment for Kimo. Kimo is back at Juut after taking a 20 year break to raise his two beautiful daughters on the island of Maui.

Kimo’s career with Juut included being the Director of Education from 1999 to 2003. Kimo moved to the Palo Alto salon in 1998 after it was purchased by David Wagner, and was hired as a Master Stylist/Educator to help merge the two techniques of Juut and Yosh Toya’s ITP training program.

Kimo’s passion is making people happy and leaving them with a smile on their face. His approach to being a stylist is the connection that he makes with his guest. Kimo’s talent is pointing out one’s beauty and listening to each persons needs, incorporating the best shape and style that fits with the client’s personality and lifestyle. He loves precision haircuts with fun styling trends. His inspiration is being in a team environment and having teammates with the same mindset… of being a Daymaker!

In Kimo’s free time he enjoys cooking and eating out (definitely a foodie), exploring new adventures with his wife, loves to bowl and play golf, and is an avid dog lover.
