About raquel

Raquel was in third grade when God put the gift in her mind. She knew then that she would become a hairstylist. By the time high school came around, Raquel enrolled in 4 years of cosmetology school which allowed her to graduate with her degree. She found herself eager to do everyone’s hair, as it came naturally. Learning to listen to the hair but knowing how to manipulate it was an art. With 14 years of experience and God’s gift she is still eager to create cuts, and colors for clients to wear as their best accessory. The hair part resides in her skills but being able to connect on a deeper levels with her clients is what we need more of in the world. When you sit in Raquel’s chair you’re not just getting a cut or a balayage that’s perfectly blended and flattering, you’re going to create a safe space and talk about life. Tears will be shed but you’ll feel more beautiful than you ever have.
