Since launching his career in 2010, Sam Farrand has cultivated a deep passion for the salon industry and the craft of hair design. Trained at the renowned Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, he furthered his expertise at JUUT’s New Artist Academy and has remained committed to ongoing education to remain at the forefront of the industry.

Sam’s approach to design is rooted in a deep understanding of individual beauty. He believes that each client is unique, and that the key to creating a signature look lies in designing with the person—not just the hair—at the center. With every guest, Sam takes the time to understand his client’s lifestyle, personality, and vision, creating bespoke results that complement and elevate their natural features.
Drawing inspiration from both classic techniques and current trends, Sam delivers results that offers a luxurious and transformative experience.

Outside of the salon, Sam seeks ways of deepening his understanding of the world. He finds inspiration in travel, art, and continuous learning. He enjoys spending time volunteering for various nonprofits that promote social mobility for marginalized individuals. You’ll often find him spending time with his husband, Carson, and their chihuahua, Jacks.
