Fall, we see you. Between your cooler temperatures (finally!), your autumnal flavors, and your fresh new beauty trends, we are officially ready for the change in seasons. And speaking of trends—our beauty experts at Juut Salon Spa are loving what they’re seeing. Bold colors and prints, red hues and that perfect combination of cozy-meets-fashionable. We’ve got the products to backup the looks…

A beautiful face starts with beautiful skin, and as the weather cools down there are some steps you can take to ensure your face is looking fresh and healthy. For starters, it’s more important than ever to make sure your skin is getting plenty of moisture. And thankfully, as an Aveda Salon, we have plenty of skin care options for you. We love the Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion—just apply it to your skin right after you cleanse and tone. It protects your skin from dehydration and leaves it feeling plump and rejuvenated.

Just as your skin needs extra hydration in the colder temps, so do your lips. No one enjoys going to put on a killer lip color only to find it clumping because of chapped lips. Keep them soft and healthy with Aveda’s Feed My Lips Pure Nourish-Mint Lip Treatment—it nourishes and moisturizes using the power of organic fruit butter and botanical oils.

When it comes to fall makeup, we love the contrast of a fresh, dewy face paired with a smoky eye. You can make this as subtle or dramatic as the occasion calls for—and you can even add some shimmer and glitter to it if you’re feeling extra fancy.

If you are going for bold eyes, we recommend a nude lip like the Aveda Bronzed Pecan, which is our favorite neutral this season. Plus, it lasts all day long, so when you need a color to stay fresh from pumpkin picking to cider drinking, it’s a good choice.

When you think of fall hair you might think of longer styles, but this season we are seeing the trend of the medium-length bob stay strong (think Chrissy Teigen at basically every fall award show). We love this style because it is so versatile—it can have many different textures and lengths, but generally falls somewhere above the shoulder and below the jaw line. It’s one of our favorite go-to looks and it’s a little easier to manage and style than the longer cuts.

As for hair color, this season we are seeing a ton of vampy reds—those high-shine, deep reds that have the power to turn heads when you walk into the room. Reds are a little more of a commitment to maintain, but if you’re up for it, it can be a fabulous way to get into the season.

We also love fall brondes—the perfectly-blended soft brown with blonde balayage, kind of like a caramel frappuccino if it were a hair color. This is a great option for those who want something a little more low maintenance and natural.

And just like you need to keep your face moisturized in the cooler weather, your hair needs some extra TLC, too. We love Aveda’s Smooth Infusion Style-Prep because it adds moisture while also protecting your hair from heat styling.

We’d be remiss to not mention all the fabulous fall fashion trends happening right now. The big look is bold patterns and prints—tweed, plaid and animal prints are having a serious moment and we are here for it. Fall fashion has a big place in our hearts because you can layer, change up your look and try out new things that you might not feel comfortable trying in the summertime heat. So go ahead, be bold with your bird blouse.
