For the month of November we’ve partnered with organizations in Minnesota, California and Arizona and will be hosting collection drives at each salon through November 30th. Each organization was chosen carefully with input from team members in each state and represents a cause that we’re passionate about. We encourage you to participate along with our team and bring in an item to donate at your next visit!
In Minnesota we will be hosting a coat drive for a local school called LEAP High School. They serve primarily refugee students that are experiencing their first winter in Minnesota. The items we are accepting are both new and lightly used, this coat drive will also winter hats/ gloves and boots of all sizes.
In California we will be working with an organization called Samaritan House and hosting a coat drive for them, please note that they only accept NEW items. Samaritan House serves houseless people and work to empower community members living in poverty through immediate need assistance as well as providing guidance for long term self reliance.
In Arizona we will be working with an organization called One N Ten that serves LGBTQ+ youth and provide empowering social and service programs within a safe space. We will be hosting a drive for their Queermas, collecting gifts for youth that will not be able to celebrate the holidays with family. We are collecting the following items: Pronoun pins, Pride swag, Pride flags, and individually packaged snacks that are shelf stable. There is also a QR code available at the salon so that you can send items directly to One N Ten from the convenience of your phone.
